On 20th June, Trustees Paul Oakes and Bob Wright met Sarah from North Walsham Community First Responders. This group provides the first response in many emergencies, being locally based they can arrive in the vital first few minutes before the ambulance. Their 100% voluntary commitment to the role, and its heavy training commitment, can really make the difference to those in need. So North Walsham Community Shop was really proud to be able to present her with a cheque for £1,000 to fund the purchase of the medical equipment that will allow a third responder from their team to be available in the town at any one time.
