At the Community Shop we recycle your unwanted items into grants for community projects.
We rely on the community’s support through donations that can be sold. These can be left at the shop or we can collect locally.
What we want.
Items in good, saleable condition including; bric a brac, books, clothes, DVDs, children’s toys, vinyl records, collectables, games, tools, jewellery, in fact any small items of interest.
What we don’t want.
We cannot take things like VHS Videos, broken or worn out items.
We appreciate all of your donations but it does take time and money to dispose of anything unsuitable and we’d much rather all funds went to community projects.
Please, choose your donations carefully, it helps us a lot!
If you have any questions about items that we accept or would like someone to come and collect your donations, you’re also welcome to call us on 01692 218340.
If you are an individual or business and would like to donate money by cash, standing order or BACS, we would be equally grateful.
Our running costs are as basic as possible. All trustees and staff are volunteers and even the improvements we had done before we opened were on a voluntary basis. Your donations and the money we raise cover our overheads but everything else goes straight back into the community.
We can also if you prefer, direct money donations towards any specific project of your choice.
